‘On her Majesty's Secret Service’ (1969)

‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ is the sixth movie in the franchise and stars George Lazenby

as James Bond.

The movie begins with Bond driving on the Portuguese coast when he sees a girl trying to commit

suicide. He saves the girl and latter sees her in a hotel, where he learns that her name is Tracy. After she disappears in the morning James is kidnapped and brought before Marc-Ange Draco, head of the

second most powerful crime organization in the world and Tracy’s father.

He tells Bond of Tracy’s emotional problems and promises to tell Bond the location of Ernest Blofeld,

if he marries Tracy and protects her. At first Bond only takes the offer out of his enmity with the

SPECTRE boss, but later develops feelings for Tracy.

Draco’s information leads Bond to Blofeld’s alpine hideout with Tracy accompanying him.

He goes Undercover in order to unearth Blofeld’s latest plan. Bond discovers that Blofeld plans to

distribute a lethal virus all over the world, using the ten women he is brainwashing in his institute,

unless he is pardoned for all his crimes...

Agent Y's Opinion

It is not only one of the most emotional of Bond movies it is also one of the best. This was George

Lazenby’s only appearance in the Bond franchise. This highly under rated movie is a must see.
