‘Spy Kids’ (2001)

In Spy Kids, Ingrid and Gregorio Cortez are secret operatives working for two different countries. One day when they come face to face, on a mission to assassinate each other, they fall in love, and subsequently get married.

They have two children Juni and Carmen. In order to raise the kids they get retirement from their respective agencies. They keep there past hidden from their kids.

One day both are called for a secret mission, which involves the disappearance of some of their colleagues. To save their old friends both of them decide to embark on a search and rescue mission.

The kids are left with their uncle Felix who in fact not their uncle, but a secret agent. Felix finds it hard to baby sit the kids. Felix later tells kids about the whole truth and that their parents got kidnapped...

This movie provides a very good experience for the whole family, though some jokes can only be enjoyed by elder folks. The movie contains very good actions sequences that most of children will certainly enjoy.
