Feb 28, Q's Gadget of the Week: Spy Pen

<img src="http://ak.buy.com/db_assets/prod_images/223/210880223.jpg" alt="Spy Pen" align="right">This weeks gadget is a camera in a pen. It's so easy to use... just stick it in your shirt pocket, or put it somewhere on a shelf.

A pen is a great device to spy on people, because most people don't even notice it's there!

See that little pinhole, just above the clip? That's where the lens is at. You activate the camera and microphone with the push of the button on top of the pen. After recording, you can simply plug in the pen as an USB-stick to get the footage.

The 'write' pen for any budding 007!

Cars have always been a favorite among spies. Not only can they bring you from A to B in style, there's also plenty of room to stick in some cool gadgets.

So, this week I'm revisiting one of the coolest spy cars ever created, the white Lotus Esprit of Commander James Bond (aka. 007). The car was the star of the James Bond movie, "The Spy Who Loved Me" (1979).

<img src="http://www.topspysecrets.com/images/lotus-esprit.jpg" width="500" height="300" alt="007 Lotus Esprit">

In my mind, it's the ultimate spy car, because it could transform from a car into a submarine! In addition, it had surface-to-air missiles and underwater mines, an oil sprayer for underwater camouflage, a self destruct system, and lots more.

I used to own this car, not the real deal but a toy, when I was a kid. They're still for sale on Ebay!

Jan 29, Introduction to Codes and Ciphers

Codes and ciphers are all about keeping secrets. By nature, being a spy has to be a secret. If people know that the spy is looking for information, they won't tell their own secrets. If they get caught with secret information, spies wouldn't be able to do their job or their life could be in danger.
